ANNUAL GRANT ROUND

Each year the Ballarat Arts Foundation (BAF) offers grants to emerging artists through a suite of Named Awards and BAF Genre Awards.

These grants support artists who have lived, studied or worked in Ballarat to undertake a project of any genre as their next step towards a career in the arts.

SMALL EQUIPMENT GRANTS

This grant of up to $350 is designed to support emerging artists in the purchase of essential equipment for their creative practice.

EUREKA ART AWARD

The Eureka Art Award is a special biennial event in the BAF calendar.

Visual Arts Alumni are invited to exhibit and sell recent works, and are awarded with a range of prizes including Judge’s Award and People’s Choice award.

volunteerING

We’re always looking for volunteers to take up opportunities to get involved. We invite you to consider giving time to our committees, run a fundraising events, or give back as a mentor.

MENTORING PROGRAM

Our annual mentoring program aims to encourage and further develop the aspirations and talents of local artists.

Structured mentoring partnerships allow mentees gain new skills and increased confidence, while mentors can benefit from having the opportunity to give back to the community.

MASTERCLASSES & MORE

BAF Alumni are working as artists across the globe, and we are proud to invite them home to collaborate with our community, working together on events, masterclasses and fundraising campaigns.
