Small Equipment Grants

Ballarat Arts Foundation's Small Equipment Grant is designed to support emerging artists in the Ballarat region in the purchase of essential equipment for their creative practice.

Equipment is defined an essential piece of hardware, a tool, a machine, an apparatus or a device used repeatedly for the purpose of producing art, and excludes consumables.

The program will run throughout the year with a cap of $350 per successful application.

Applications will be reviewed as they are received, and applicants notified of the outcome after the next Board meeting (first Tuesday of each month).

SEG applications are currently closed. Small Equipment Grants will re-open upon the completion of our Annual Grant Round funding projects. If you have a need for project funding, applications for this year’s Grant Round are open until June 30.
