Come behind the scenes with International Pole Performer Kristy Sellars as she talks on harnessing your talent, building self-confidence and doing the hard work for a successful creative career.

Kristy Sellars is a world-renowned pole choreographer and performer. She was the first in the world to incorporate video projection interaction with pole work which she is now most famous for. After two years in a full-time performing arts course in Melbourne where she gained her Certificate 3 and first year Diploma of performing arts, she ventured to L.A where she expanded her performance skill and knowledge at leading studios Millenium and Debbie Reynolds. In 2007 she tried pole dancing and was instantly hooked. She founded PhysiPole Studios in 2009 which has grown to be the largest franchise of its kind in the world with 17 studio locations. After numerous teaching and performing tours around the world she then had her three children and set herself a goal to enter Australia’s Got Talent in 2019 when her youngest was 6 months old. She went on to win Australia’s Got Talent and continued to expand her love of business creating new brands ‘The Enviro Co’ Ecommerce store and soon to launch software booking system ‘Groovio’. In 2022 she entered America’s Got Talent along with 20,000 others and took out 1st Runner Up in the Grand Finale. In February of 2023 she was commissioned to create and perform two custom-made shows for the NFL at the US Super Bowl in Arizona. Then in April she travelled to Missouri where she performed 54 shows at Silver Dollar City. Most recently she performed in Darwin at the Starlight foundation’s Star Ball and is set to feature at more events in Australia and overseas throughout the rest of 2023.
